A wide range of sensors can be incorporated in the system using different communication protocols including Z-Wave and BUS based systems such as KNX. Dianmeo does not need to differentiate between protocols at the device level and once a device (smoke detector, flood sensor, light level or movement sensor etc.) is configured in the system it can be programmed into set scenarios which will appear on the user interface and also the triggering of actions can be implemented.

The range of scenarios that can be implemented is only limited by ones imagination and the availability of an appropriate sensor and control device to support your lifestyle. Simple scenarios such as “Holiday mode” turning lights on and off in conjunction with blinds and curtains and monitoring temperature and turning on heating to avoid freezing are quite common.
